Setup & everyday use.

Everything below reflects the current release (v1.3.0). Install to first branded report is typically under ten minutes.

Before you start

You need WordPress 6.0+ on PHP 7.4+, an administrator login, and the plugin zip plus licence key from your purchase email. Installation never touches your theme or content.

Setup, step by step

  1. Install the plugin

Your purchase email contains the plugin zip. In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, install and activate. Run one edition only — deactivate any other edition of the plugin first.

  2. Enter your licence key

Open the plugin's Licence screen and paste the key from your purchase email. Keys are domain-based: no account, no phoning home. The status line confirms activation and expiry.

  3. Add your branding

In Settings, set your company name, website link, logo, brand colour and footer line. Every report and email digest carries your branding — clients see your agency, not our plugin.

  4. Let it log

From activation, plugin, theme and core updates are recorded automatically — including auto-updates and WP-CLI updates, thanks to the snapshot system — along with posts and pages created or updated.

  5. Generate your first report

Open the report screen, pick the period, and preview. Use the report's Print / Save as PDF button for a boardroom-grade A4 document.

  6. Schedule the digests

Choose weekly (any weekday) or monthly (any day 1–28), add recipients, and digests send automatically at 08:00 site time in email-safe HTML matching the PDF. Preview and send-now any time.

Everyday use

The screens you'll actually live in.

Update log

Versions and timestamps for every plugin, theme and core update in the period — captured by upgrader hooks plus snapshots, so nothing done at 6am slips through.

Content activity

Pages and posts created or updated during the period, so content work counts alongside the plumbing.

Maintenance notes

Log manual work — a fix, a call, an optimisation — and it appears in the report and digests with the date.

GA4 & WooCommerce stats

Connect GA4 and, on shops, WooCommerce, to add traffic and sales headlines to the report.

Email digests

Self-rescheduling weekly/monthly sends with a full send log; recipients managed in Settings.

One edition rule

If you run the Pro edition, deactivate the standard edition first — the plugin reminds you politely if both are active.
